The Mystery of the Thing
When
a woman
named Dawn Forrestier goes missing all that is remains of her is her
clothes. They are found abandoned in a cemetery and Dawns fate is a
complete mystery, but everything about the beautiful Dawn has always
been a mystery.
Dawn met her husband, Dr. John Forrestier, earlier in the year. John
found her wandering in the park near to the hospital and, discovering
that she was suffering from amnesia, he took her straight to the
hospital. Her memory never returned and John named her Dawn because
that is when they met. Dawn's may not have been able to find her
memory, but she did succeed in finding true love and the couple were
soon married.
Not long after his wife's disappearance the doctor finds a letter from
her and calls a press conference where he allows his wife's last
written words to shed some light on the mystery that surrounded their
short life together and, ultimately, to explain what became of her; and
what a strange and chilling tale it is.
