House on Lost Man's Bluff" is a haunted house story. Three
travelling companions have car trouble and find themselves stranded in
the middle of nowhere, then when the weather takes a turn for the worse
it is imperative that they find somewhere to shelter. Fortunately one
the group, Denton, is familiar with the area and he knows a place where
they can go. When the trio arrive at the house, however, Denton deserts his wife and brother-in-law and barricades himself into one of the rooms. Strange behaviour indeed; but not as strange as the maniacal laughter that Nan and her brother Charles hear coming from behind the closed door If it is Denton who is laughing, he must have lost his mind.
