Old Radio Shows   The Hermit's Cave   The House of Purple Shadows This is the story of missing man. His name is Davison and at the beginning of the show his lawyer has accompanied his bookkeeper on a search of his house. The two men have no idea where he is and are mystified about the disappearance. Mr Davison is also mystified about it. He is standing right next to them, but they cannot see him. He has been through some changes recently and knows that it has something to do with the house and the purple shadows that share it with him. A year later Davison's niece Loretta inherits the house and she and her husband Dan move into it. Mr Davison is still there, still invisible, and just as helpless as he has ever been, but now he has an added worry because he knows that unless he can find some way to warn them Loretta and Dan they will share his fate and be trapped forever in the house of purple shadows.
