Black & White Magazine

 

Also known as Black & White: A Weekly Illustrated Record and Review, Black & White magazine was an illustrated weekly periodical that was popular for a couple of decades in the Victorian era. It was founded in 1891 by the British writer and motoring journalist Charles Norris Williamson. In addition to the main edition, there was also an overlapping publication called Black & White Budget, introduced in 1899.

Black & White magazine provided its readers with a mix of news and fiction, publishing works by popular authors such as H. G. Wells, Henry James, Bram Stoker, E. Nesbit, and Arthur Conan Doyle.

In 1912, Black & White was incorporated with The Sphere, a British newspaper published from January 1900 to June 1964.
