Site Birthday: 20 Years of A Passion For Horror

A Passion For Horror is 20 years old today. Yep! Twenty years ago, on 24 June 2026, I registered the domain steve-calvert.co.uk and began uploading content. It wasn’t the first site I’d built, and I already had the homepage and “My Stuff” pages ready to go,in the form of HTML files, so the site was online quickly.

I can’t believe that was two decades ago, but it was. Now the site has close to 2000 pages, and continues to grow.

Although I couldn’t let the occasion pass without noting it, I don’t have anything more to say. However, if you want to see what the site used to look like in the early days, a site snapshot is available at the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
